Our Story
Vision for a Better Future
Inspired by his personal experience, Matthew Reeds co-founded the Reeds Fund in 2019 to support young adults with autism and their families.
A Family's Journey
Matthew's younger sister, My'zaaih, was diagnosed with autism at a young age. His mother, Roxanne Reeds, a retired educator and former Foster Family of the Year, has been a lifelong advocate for individuals with disabilities.
Building a Community of Support
While pursuing a career in finance, Matthew's passion for helping others led him to create the Reeds Fund. The organization is dedicated to providing resources, promoting neurodiversity, and advocating for the rights of young adults with autism.
A Shared Mission
Matthew's wife, Melanie Reeds, a special education professional, joined him in his efforts. Together, they've worked tirelessly to expand the Reeds Fund's reach and impact.
Empowering Young Adults
Through programs like the Roxanne Reeds Scholarship and the Perry Hall Entrepreneurship Program, the Reeds Fund is helping young adults with autism achieve their goals and build fulfilling lives.
